Compassion through the difficult pandemic times in Roysambu Constituency

Local families in the area that have been adversely affected by the increasing cost of living and reduced opportunities from the pandemic expressed the need to have local leaders more engaged with them in a bid to finding lasting solutions to pertinent challenges such as unemployment as many youth in the area remain largely unemployed and under employed.

James, and the team of well-wishers that aspire for positive change in Roysambu expressed his concern over the urgency to offer assistance to the  local communities especially the highly vulnerable such as the elderly that are not able to well fend for themselves and are often deserted during these tough social-economic times as the nation fights to combat the Covid Pandemic.

CATHOLIC DOCTORS IN KENYA OPPOSED TO COVID 19 VACCINATION EFFORTS

The Kenya catholic doctors association have expressed their reservations on the vaccination roll out program in Kenya. The members of the organization are encouraging faith-based organisations to halt vaccine campaigns, as they claim the only reasonable defence against Covid-19 is observing safety precautions such as wearing masks and quarantining patients for 10-14 days.

The skepticism has also been amplified among the general public but a seemingly lack of a proper program and information regarding the vaccination roll out program as many Kenyans are still in the dark regarding the matter of where, how and when the implementation of the vaccination program is to happen therefore raising some concerns over the governments commitment to see this roll out program succeed in the very first stages and subsequent stages of the mass vaccination program.
